#TGIFC126 - Technique Time - Z Fold Card

Good morning...and happy Friday!  I'm back...with something lovely for this week's TGIF Challenge!

http://tgifchallenges.blogspot.com/

It's #TGIFC126..and it's a Z Fold Card for this Technique Time challenge!  Click HERE to go to the TGIF Challenges blog for all the details.  You'll be able to see what the TGIF designers have shared to inspire you...and you'll be able to see what other challengers have created, too!  But first...here's my #TGIFC126 challenge project!

I love the design of this simple Z Fold...for so many reasons!  First, it's fun to use lots of coordinating DSP...and here I've used the Painted Autumn DSP.  It's amazing...and super versatile, too!  Second, this simple Z Fold gives me more than one area to design....which I know I could do on the inside of any card...but it just seems more fun here!  Finally, the middle panel is the perfect place to create and add a fun pocket...for a gift card or a sweet treat!  It's also the perfect place to write a note to the recipient.

How will YOU be inspired by this week's Technique Time challenge?  You'll find the link to add your own project at the #TGIFC1269 Challenge page HERE.  I can't wait to see what you create!

Have an amazing day!

#TGIFC124 - Sketch Challenge

Good morning...and happy Friday!  I'm back...with something lovely for this week's TGIF Challenge!

http://tgifchallenges.blogspot.com/

 It's #TGIFC124..and it's a sketch challenge!

https://tgifchallenges.blogspot.com/2017/09/tgifc124-sketch-challenge-week.html

Click the image above to go to the TGIF Challenges blog for all the details.  You'll be able to see what the TGIF designers have shared to inspire you...and you'll be able to see what other challengers have created, too!  But first...here's my #TGIFC124 project!

First...let's talk about this sketch.  It's so amazing...for so many reasons!  I love that the main panel is wide open for possibilities.  For me...I chose to create this fun "scene"...with no sentiment...so I can use it as a thank you card...or Halloween card...or a missing you, friend card.  Then...I love the way the sketch allowed me to sneak in a tiny bit more of the Berry Burst that I used for the pumpkin's vine.  It just ties it all together so nicely.  And finally...I was able to use the Oh My Stars Textured Impressions Embossing Folder on the panel's black background and still stay true to the sketch.

And then...for fun...I created this matching pillow box...which has nothing to do with the sketch or the challenge...but just because I loved the pumpkins and cat together.  Ha!

How will YOU be inspired by this week's sketch challenge?  You'll find the link to add your own project at the #TGIFC124 Challenge page HERE.  I can't wait to see what you create!

Stamp Review Crew - Crafting Forever

Welcome...to Sunday...and to the Stamp Review Crew Blog Hop!  We're featuring the Crafting Forever Stamp Set...a super fun set that will definitely remind you how much you love getting crafty and creative!

So...here's our set.  And yes...it's approved for use with the Stampin' Up! Angel Policy!

https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=143955&dbwsdemoid=2135683

I've had it on my list to use Crafting Forever as my monthly customer thank you cards...and it couldn't have worked out more perfectly to have this set featured for this hop.  I it when it all comes together like this!

So...my goal was to create something that would be easy for mass production...and I think this card is perfect for that!  I chose to use the fabulous brushes image...and as you can see it looks amazing whether it's stamped or embossed.  The image itself has quite the impact! And then there's the message...the BEST sentiment...EVER!

And...as a fun final touch I stamped the image on the envelope, too...and I actually did a tiny bit of watercoloring on the brushes.  Yep...watercoloring...it's not just for cards!   Ha!

If you're hopping in order you've just come from my Crew friend Yapha...and I'm sure you'll want to hop over to see what the talented Tanya has for you, too!
